Fincas Naturales Wildlife Refuge is located in the Central Pacific; ecologically it represents a transition zone between the Tropical Dry Forest and the Tropical Humid Forest. Its weather is warm and moist. The Dry Season spans from December to April, with the hottest days occurring in February and March. Daily temperatures average 27°C (80°F), rarely falling to 20°C (68°F), or raising above 34°C (93°F). The average rainfall is about 4000mm (150 in) per year. The Green Season often brings periodic rainfall, with occasional days of torrential rain. However, most days are sunny, with rains occurring in late afternoon or evening. |
